big brown pot
- clay
- new mexico chocolate
- glaze
- layered: rutile blue, smoky merlot, coyote apricot
- orchid
- purple spotted phalaenopsis orchid
this pot i made using a mold and got super creative with some coils since new mexico clay is quite fun to work with texture. the orchid it houses is a purple spotted orchid my lovely husband Matthew gifted me on our first anniversary! i've somehow kept it blooming since 2024 and it's the orchid that made me realize i had a little green thumb ❋
